Renowned local architect William Harvard designed this newly-for-sale home in Driftwood. Harvard also designed the “Inverted Pyramid” St. Pete pier, and founded the still-hriving Harvard Jolly architecture firm. The 1949 home includes 4 beds, 4 baths and 122 feet of Big Bayou waterfront. The asking price is $3,500,000.

Another noteworthy new listing is all about energy efficiency. The Treasure Island home has 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms in 3,215 square feet with an asking price of $3,295,000.  It won “Home Of The Year” from Florida Green Builders, and is completely sustained by solar power.

It’s not all new listings this week. The biggest price tag in this edition of Places This Week “just sold”‘ for $7,325,000. The waterfront home (on Bayshore Blvd.) is a 6,000 square foot new build by Hughes Construction, with unobstructed views of Tampa Bay.
